Darin S. Featherstone received his Juris Doctor degree in May 2010 from the
University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, where he was honored with
multiple academic awards. He was admitted to the Utah bar in October 2010.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Featherstone obtained an Honors Bachelor of
Arts degree in History and Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Utah,
where he was a Hans Marrow Award recipient. While attending law school, he also
served as a law clerk for the U.S. Attorney’s Office, where he acted as lead
prosecutor for Central Violations Bureau trials and established a frame work for
prosecuting domestic terrorism under the federal R.I.C.O. statute. Following law
school, Mr. Featherstone worked for the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office,
where he gained valuable litigation experience, and Corvus Law Group, LLC,
where he acquired expertise in real estate and foreclosure defense issues.
Mr. Featherstone currently practices in the areas of family law, business law, trusts
and estates, and general litigation.
In his free time Mr. Featherstone enjoys spending time with his family and watching
sports, especially football, where he formerly worked as Football Operations
Manager for the Utah Blaze of the Arena Football League. During his time with the
Blaze, Mr. Featherstone negotiated equipment contracts with Nike, Reebok, Russell
Athletics and Schutt Sports, and traveled the country with the team overseeing game
day operations.
